IMS2012 International Microwave Symposium

IMS2012 will introduce a new online technical discussion forum for symposium attendees. The objective of this initiative is to increase opportunities of technical discussion and professional networking centered on your technical area. Other benefits include increased opportunity to network with your audience and other IMS2012 attendees who are interested in your work and could not physically be present in the room during your presentation. It is also an opportunity to form a mini-network of people centered on your technical area.

The terms of the online technical discussion forum are:

• Authors can choose to have their papers open for discussion, i.e. authors must confirm their willingness to participate in the discussion. Please login to your personal IMS2012 account to make your choice on the inclusion of your paper in the discussion forum. (Your personal account allows you to create IMS2012 personal schedule, to read or write messages in online discuss forum, and to download pdf papers to mobile devices during symposium)
• The discussion forum is open for reading and writing for all paid registrants of IMS2012. It is a benefit to IMS2012 attendees only, and is not open for general public. The forum is open for posting messages by all IMS attendees from June 17 to June 29, 2012. Authors will be able to post messages until July 6, 2012. The archived discussions will be available for reading untill the end of December 2012.
• The real names with real affiliations of all those who post materials for discussion will be shown to the reader.
• The forum is intended for technical discussions and professional networking. It is not intended as a forum to discuss the quality and originality of any work. Non-acceptable messages can be anonymously flagged by authors or any participant. A central IMS2012 moderating committee will constantly review the discussion and remove flagged messages if they are not acceptable.
